Connie Klabunde Lt. Gov. Education and Training 2007-08
Connie was born and raised in Omaha NE. She led a sheltered life graduating from high school with the same friends she attended kindergarten with. Her goal is to enjoy life 100%.
Connie currently belongs to Small Talkers, Club 3194. Her past club memberships include Gold Coast Toastmasters, Omaha 229 and Strictly Speaking. (Yes she does get around). Her favorite officer role in the club setting is VP of Education. This position provided the opportunity to get to know each and every member and work towards individual goals together. Her favorite district leadership role was as Area 41E governor. This position allowed her to get to know the members of each club in the area clubs and work with each club to reach great success.
Connie continues to be amazed at the number of friends she has added to her life as a result of the Toastmaster community. It is great fun to get to know so many unique individuals.
Connie is currently employed at World Insurance Company as a Project Manager in the Project Office. She completed the accelerated program at Bellevue University in the Management Information Systems, MIS, in 2006.
Connie is active in the community working with at risk youths and with victims of domestic and sexual violence.
Connie is a single mother. Her 2 daughters have been the focal point of her life until the 2 grandsons arrived. Now it is all about these 2 perfect little boys!
