Leadership Excellence Series

series of short modules focusing on leadership development topics. Members may complete two of these modules to fulfill their requirements for the Competent Leader Award.
  1. Delegate to Empower This module discusses how to effectively delegate tasks and responsibilities. Script and six overhead transparencies.
  2. Developing A Mission Addresses how successful leaders create and comunicate a mission for their organization. Script and five overhead transparencies.
  3. Giving Effective Feedback This module provides suggestions for offering feedback to others on their performance. Script and four overhead transparencies.
  4. Goal Setting and Planning Reviews the processes leaders use to set goals and develop plans to achieve these goals. Script and three overhead transparencies.
  5. Motivating People This modules examines how to be sensitive to your team members' needs and create an environment that will motivate them. Script and three overhead transparencies.
  6. Resolving Conflict This module from The Leadership Excellence Series provides concepts that will help the presenter and the participants learn conflict resolution skills.
  7. Service and Leadership This module from The Leadership Excellence Series provides the overall concepts of the service leadership philosphy.
  8. The Leader as Coach This module discusses how to work with a team to help them improve. Script and six overhead transparencies.
  9. The Visionary Leader Discusses how leaders create and communicate a vision for their organization to help it be successful. Script and five overhead transparencies.
  10. Values and Leadership Examines values and how to employ them as you lead a team toward achieving a goal. Script and three overhead transparencies.
